Compostable diaper service
Apr. 9th, 2011 05:16 pmGot this through the flyer of our waste disposal company.
Earth Baby
Looks like they provide compostable diapers, pick the soiled ones up, and take care of processing them professionally, for about $30/month. They seem to be limited to the SF Bay Area, but who knows, there may be other similar outfits elsewhere.
When my kids were little, there were no ecological alternatives. It was cloth diapers -- service or wash your own -- or plastic, utterly non-biodegradable disposables. This looks to have the convenience of the latter without all the guilt. Anyone know more?
