We're now happily ensconced in Oregon City with my dear friends, enjoying the coolth after 190oF of much of the trip. Have been greeted by horse, goats, and cats, although the latter are rather shy and stand-off-ish. They make up for the enthusiasm of the goats.

For all you in the Portland area who haven't already been inundated by my announcements, I'll reading/signing/chatting at Powell's Beaverton at 4 pm today. I use the slashes to indicate that I'm very happy to flow with what people want to hear. I can tell stories about working with Marion Zimmer Bradley, or the History of Deborah As Author, or read aloud.

I hope to see many of you there! Hugs and smiles all around!
