Wool Afghan is done!
Oct. 18th, 2008 01:05 pmJust finished pressing and taking pics of the second, wool afghan for the
livelongnmarry fundraiser for marriage equality.

The buyer says: "The afghan is a birthday present to my grandmother, who was the first person outside of my immediate family to know I was gay and who has been supportive and wonderful to me the whole time. She accepts my gf as another granddaughter, she's amazing. I wanted her to have something warm to curl up under in her armchair at night and think of me after I move off to the northeast and away from the part of the country I've lived in up until now."

Date: 2008-10-20 03:56 pm (UTC)The pics don't do justice to the subtleties of color and texture -- wool and wool blended with angora, mohair, alpaca, even silk. So yummy.
