How many members of the Bush Administration are needed to change a light bulb?

The Answer is TEN.

1. One to deny that a light bulb needs to be changed,

2. One to attack the patriotism of anyone who says the light bulb needs to be changed,

3. One to blame Clinton for burning out the light bulb,

4. One to tell the nations of the world that they are either for changing the light bulb or for darkness,

5. One to give a billion-dollar no-bid contract to Halliburton for the new light bulb,

6. One to arrange a photograph of Bush, dressed as a janitor, standing on a stepladder under the banner "Light Bulb Change Accomplished,

7. One administration insider to resign and write a book documenting in detail how Bush was literally "in the dark,"

8. One to viciously smear #7,

9. One surrogate to campaign on TV and at rallies on how George Bush has had a strong light-bulb-changing policy all along, and finally:

10. One to confuse Americans about the difference between screwing a light bulb and screwing the country.

Omglol.

By the way, I finally got your YIM message. The answer is, uh, I don't even really know where to start re getting the piano out here. Nor (after the wedding) do I have financial leeway to put towards renting anything at all, reimbursement or no - the initial money to pay out isn't there.

I still WANT the piano, I just, uh, need a little (or maybe a lot) of help with the details.

There's two issues. One is the cost -- and if you will put together a budget (see #2), I'll advance the funds. The more complicated part is figuring out how to best transport it. Maybe you can noodle online and get some advice, like what size truck or whatever to rent and blankets or tiedowns or whatever. Or call a piano mover and ask. I can probably find a local piano mover to get it out of the house where it is -- up a narrow private road on a hillside -- and on to a truck (or you can bring a dolly and muscle -- see what the advice is!) Include the cost of tuning it in your budget, as I guarantee it will need it! That runs about $100 up here, but LA may be different.

Is that enough to get you started?
