Con crud strikes again!

I'm been disgustingly healthy for several years now, but Westercon's version of con crud struck. Chest, of course, given my history of lung ailments. I betook myself to the local clinic yesterday, was reassured that my lungs are clear and that my regime (restRESTrest, expectorant, lots of fluids, inhaling steam) was proper. Feeling a little better today, so may tackle the overdue laundry and lie down in between. Why lying flat is so much more effective than simply sitting quietly, I don't know, but it does seem to be true. I'm certainly putting a dent in the TBR shelf.

Don't you just hate that. Reminds me of how I hurt my toe at Con Jose and could hardly walk. ;-(
