home stretch

deborahjrossI just sent off Chapters 1-35 to my editor. I've been through them twice or three times. I'm halfway through Chapter 38 (out of 44). If I had lots of time, I'd finish the whole thing, set it aside, and take another go-through, but the production deadline is so tight, I don't have that luxury.
In the midst of manic writing, I have moments of delight. It's good! Not perfect, but full of interesting twists and character development and Exciting Events.
