Saturday writing

Chugging along... working on Chapters 31-34 out of 44, feeling pleased with the new layer of richness and connected-ness.

Dinner tonight with Rose & household and a couple of friends, one of those family dinners that just kept expanding. Dave had made a Costco run so we have lots of beautiful fresh sole, and fresh mushroom, and broccoli, and a box of tiny ultra-sweet tangerines. So, brown jasmine rice is cooking in the rice cooker, guests are bringing salad and fresh bread and Dave is out getting wine.

You're welcome. I've been a bit overloaded to shop for a present -- although, I hope, the sparklies brought a smile -- but you have been in my thoughts. It's hard to know how to communicate concern and support without bringing up subjects better left alone. Hence, sparklies.

After everything you got me at Christmas, I absolutely wasn't expecting a gift. The sparklies did make me smile.
