I may have the injection sooner because of the pain and swelling at the end of every day, regardless of how active I am. One only, hoping to break the cycle of inflammation. I've been riding the exercise bike 15 minutes every 2 or 3 days, limiting walking, adding some of the exercises from the handouts, particularly strengthening vastus medialis. It feels familiar-from-a-long-time-ago, esp. my years of dance, when a straight/taut leg was desirable. It's the quad muscle on the inside of the thigh, and should help guide the kneecap straight if it's strong. This, however, will take a while to build up; hence the injection for immediate relief. My summer convention travel schedule starts in a week or so and I'd like to be able to not die at the end of each day.

Rolf session #2 this afternoon. Stay tuned.
