A young director, Jared Crossley, is raising money via Kickstarter to do a documentary on Lloyd Alexander. He has the support of at least two of Lloyd Alexander's editors, as well as a biographer and scholar of his books. A good cause!

LLOYD ALEXANDER: A DOCUMENTARY examines the life and writings of one of the most beloved American children's fantasy authors. ... Alexander wrote 48 books over his 50+ year career, including 40 books for young people.
This documentary features an exclusive look into the magical land of Prydain, including interviews with the editor of Prydain, Ann (Durrell) McCrory, and Michael Tunnell, the author of "The Prydain Companion". The film gives a never-before-seen look into the childhood and early years of Lloyd Alexander, including his service in the Army during WWII. It tells the story of how Lloyd met his wife, Janine, and it contains interviews with some of his closest friends and associates.
