Rain. More rain. Even more rain on the way.

Splendid concert Thursday night, "Chronicles: A Jewish Life at the Piano," by Moshe Cotel, who is married to my cousin, Aliyah.

Knee slowly improving, although I overdid on Friday and am back to committed icing. Maybe that should be capitalized? Committed Icing?

Jury duty next week. Get to call in at 11 am on Monday to see if they need me in the afternoon. I'm in the second group, so maybe...

I hate Daylight Savings -- I don't care which way they leave it, just stop messing with the time! It usually takes me a solid week to get my sleep cycle untangled.

Finished JONATHAN STRANGE AND MR. NORRELL, which kept me amused during my recent viral bout. I love how different it is stylistically from the rest of what I've been reading. Definitely a keeper.

Honest to god, one of the reasons I'd *hate* to move away from Arizona is that we're one of the damn few places with the common sense to Leave The Damn Clock Alone. Every so often you see some new arrival to Arizona writing a letter to the editor complaining about it, and I wanna slap 'em silly. Like the desert needs ANOTHER hour of post-worktime sunlight in the middle of the freakin' summer???? We can't WAIT for the sun to go down in the summer, so we can go out and barbeque... our dinner instead of our backsides.

Aren't people bizarre?

Well, it's all I've been able to do to keep up with updating my own LJ, and sending out email-spam to my friends who don't read here... reading my friends' pages here has been nearly impossible while I've been travelling. I miss being able to touch everyone else's lives, though!!!
