Intense weekend

Dave and I spent the weekend up at Quaker Center in a Couples Enrichment workshop. What an awesome event! It was extremely well attended by couples from all over California, with two couples leading/facilitating. First of all, it was incredible to be spending time in so much love. Most had been together a long time and were still very much in love. A deep slow enduring love. The heart of the program was a structured dialog technique that involved deep listening and validation, focusing on learning process rather than the solving of any particular problem. So often, we yearn to be heard, and once we are, the difficulty resolves itself.
