Kayaking with whales

I've done a little kayaking, but never out in open ocean like this. I've come close to sea otters and pelicans -- they seem to think a person in a kayak is not a threat. The video captures the sense of moving quietly through the water. I'm not sure I'd be bold enough to go out that far, so it's great to get a taste of it from the safety of land.
