I appreciate the feedback and helpful suggestions on redesigning my blog to make it more reader-friendly. I've axed the moving slide show and will be adding a "My Books" (or something like that) Tab shortly. Also made the blog text portion wider and the sidebars (hopefully) less intrusive, and tinkered with the blog title font and background color.

I like this version, but the bookshelves on the sides seem a little bit wide given the total amount of real estate available.
