That's wonderful -- that you're almost there, not that it sucks. How are we to know if a book we've been immersed in for so long is any good. If we're on track, we're in a totally schizoid state between delusions of literary greatness and conviction of total failure. So...sounds about right to me.

I am really glad to read there might be a new book coming soon (or later) - I have always loved Darkover - ever since I was a young girl - I really miss that world. Maybe you might write more and fast?

So glad to hear from you!

This is the last Darkover novel I have a contract for, so once it's approved by the MZB Literary Trust and delivered to the publisher, we'll see what they want to do next. You could write to DAW Books and ask for more!

I hope you weren't offended from my choice of words - I am really happy that there will be a new book in my favourite world. Plus I will write to DAW books - every day if that is what is needed.
