Want to see Tweets?

My foray into Twitterland has somehow caused lists of my Tweets to appear here.

Shall I monitor and delete so as not to inflict them on you fine folk, or do you have any interest in them? (I left this morning's batch up so you can see for yourselves.)

There should be a setting somewhere to keep it from doing that so you don't have to monitor and delete.

IMHO: the posting of tweets in blogs is a Bad Thing (TM). If readers want to follow your tweets, they can go get a twitter account and follow you. A better idea is something like a twitter timeline - see the right-hand side of OMH to see what I mean. :)

Ah. Found it. For LJ, it's account settings -> extensions.

Thanks, Rose! I agree with you about Tweets being... um... tweeting one's own horn in an obnoxious way. If people are kind enough to visit my LJ or blog, I should offer them something original, not just a list of things I've said elsewhere.

Theory says the correct box is now checked.

Of all the online venues I'm on, I find LJ the most conducive to intelligent conversation. GEnie got me hooked, but I like the network-y aspect of LJ.
