Is this a real person?

Just got an Anonymous post, replying to a link I put up last October:

it was very interesting to read. I want to quote your post in my blog. It can? And you et an account on Twitter?

I'm suspecting 'bots. What do you think?

Tis to be dumped with the refuse, me'thinks. It is concievable it's someone translating from another language, but they should leave some sort of checkable address if they want a quote, or have a real blog.

i'd go with bot. if if was for real they should at least have a legit user name and link to the blog itself.

bots

I'd suggest bot since they didn't link you to their blog OR have any kind of relevant comment about the post.

I'm voting bot. I've been getting a fair amount of anonyspam lately. About half is brimming with links, and the other half is brief, linkless, and random, much like this one.

Yes, WORD. It sounds vaguely 'normal' - but they are never ever SPECIFIC about anything, and if you get them to the point where they leave a URL (like in Wordpress comments) they usually link to some skanky "do I have a fake Gucci bag to sell you" website. it's REALLY annoying.

Mega-annoying, for the time that has been stolen can never be replaced.

Boundaries, Deborah--healthy boundaries!

Lots of spam in Cyrillic here. At least, that's readily identifiable, if incomprehensible.

Many thanks, groupmind! Bots it is! Comment shall be trash-ed by the amenities, courtesy of P.D.Q. Bach.

I got one like this. I'm fairly sure it's a bot.
