The prednisone had done its magic and although I am not entirely better, I am on my way. I have full range of motion, with only a little soreness at the end, and am able to sit and write for at least an hour before the sciatica cuts in. Walking is much more comfortable, too. So, I asked for some physical therapy sessions to make sure I'm doing the rehab exercises right and correct whatever imbalance produced this !@#$%^&* thing anyway.

As an extra treat, I found that my favorite yoga teacher is once again offering a class at a time I can go, and that the school will not "expire" my card once I explained about the owie. Hooray! The doc I saw was particularly encouraging about continuing the yoga. I like what it does for my mind, too, as well as staying flexible. Maybe tomorrow (with a new teacher, if I feel up to it) but for sure next Wednesday. For all those years I worked full time, that was my regular class (full time was 4 days a week,, which was great because I could write and kid-schlep on Wednesdays, as well as take yoga).

Sign me,
Happy camper
