Progress report

Finished the first chapter of THE CHILDREN OF KINGS, and paused 3 pages into the second for my afternoon walk. I want to get well started on this one before I do editorial revisions for THE ALTON GIFT, so there will be forward momentum to come back to. Actually, the pause will be longer because I'll be revising the rough draft of THE SEVEN-PETALED SHIELD, which I am trying hard not to think about so I can look at it with clearer eyes in a few weeks.

Feeling very contented with writing progress.

I've finished TWO, not one, chapters so far. 1 and 2 have one long sequence, broken into 2 chapters. whew!

Sounds great...and motivating to me! Once I finish up what could be my last Fox project I'm sitting down with the never-ending novel and organizing it so I can figure out what's what and get the dang thing finished.

Who-oo! You go! I love how creativity spreads in ripples. One of the pleasures of chatting with other writers at cons is coming home totally jazzed about my own projects. Enthusiasm is contagious!
