Fire update

Spoke to my sister this morning. The fire is 5 miles from her place, but the terrain is difficult to defend. The firefighters, volunteers from all over the country, have halted the spread of the fire at a creek line. She sounded less worried, but the smoke is pretty bad. Keep those good thoughts coming!

I so hope everything turns out OK. I'm just hoping there are no arsonists lurking around this summer. They have caused most of the fires we've had down here the last few summers.

These fires were most likely caused by the dry lightning storm. Of course, there could be a few deliberate ones mixed in, but no reason so far to suspect.
