Vineyard neepery
Oct. 23rd, 2007 08:51 amIf you're interested in the process of making wine (starting with soil, sunshine, and baby vines), or just want to see what a beautiful place we live in, check out Dave's blog: http://www.davetrowbridge.com/blog/
If you scroll down, you'll find a slide show that starts with setting up the vineyard -- our back yard through the seasons, the trees and mountains. Somewhere in there -- the stills, not the slide show -- you'll see me picking grapes.

Date: 2007-10-24 04:57 pm (UTC)I had a very similar conversation with my older daughter, who lives with her girlfriend in Los Angeles. She says it's lovely to visit for a few days, but then she longs for the rich cultural potpourri and easy accessibility of her neighborhood. I'm good for about 2 days in San Francisco, which is really a lovely city, then all the concrete and noise and Too Many People get to me, and I run for the mountains.
Isn't it wonderful there's room for all of us?
