deborahjrossbeen down with summer cold, resting as much as possible to prepare for trip back east with Dave. His company is having a sales/marketing/pep shindig at a resort in the Thousand Islands area of upper NY state, home of the original Thousand Islands dressing, which I can't stand, and spice were invited. The first semi/business trip I've been on with him. Of course, we leave a 3 am tonight. I'm hoping I can sleep on the plane and not relapse. Bringing inflatable pillow, ear plugs, eye mask. A pile of paperbacks, mixed sf/f and airport reading.
Prob'ly won't be online until I get back. I'll have writing-machine, but I rarely bother to figure out how to plug in when I'm not at home.
Oh.... THE ALTON GIFT revision is done and off to MZB Lit trust and faithful Reader. I'm noodling around with some of the outtakes to see if they might work up into companion short story. Good goal for the daytimes, when Dave will be in meetings.
