After the heat and wind, we have a chilly overcast Gray Day. Good for the fire-fighters, good for the garden.
But alas, bad for Deborahs. I don't think I have clinical SAD, but I do get blue with the diminished light. It feels like February all over again, and I was happy to be in May. I napped. I turned on bright lights. I drank hot chocolate. I played Mozart. I read Patricia Wrede. Everything helps a little and nothing really helps. Just gotta get through it.
That said, I did get some solid revision done on Shannivar and in a little while, we're off to a wedding at the Quaker meeting house. It may be brighter in Santa Cruz, so that will help. As will generalized glee and dancing.
