A happy inner child
Jul. 23rd, 2007 09:36 pmA friend and I were going to make a day of it, conducting some business for her at the Courthouse, then lunch on Pacific Avenue mall, shopping with the Bookstore Santa Cruz gift card I got for Xmas, and then HARRY POTTER 5. For various reasons, she wasn't up for it. I consulted my inner child, who told me in no uncertain terms how much she had been looking forward to the movie. Okay, I'd set aside the time anyway, so off we go, but to a closer theater. Times posted online weren't right, so we had 1 1/2 hour wait. Fortunately, there was a tiny public library branch in the same shopping center.
Go home or stay?
Yes, stay, please! Movie, please! . . . Lemonade, please!
We had a wonderful time. I felt pampered, indulged, delighted. Loved the film, inner child and outer adult very happy.
See it again with friend, please?
