Zandru's Forge is now available in Italian -- and wow, what a gorgeous cover! One of the pleasures of a foreign edition is getting to go squeeee and experience authorial palpitations of delight all over again.

I love this image! Very sexy rendition of Varzil (who is, after all, a very sexy hero). This is definitely a more contemporary cover than the original. Hopefully, the Italians will think so, too.

Yes, I think you're right Deborah, it's very contemporary and the cover artist is a very famous italian cover artist. Many fan will enjoy this book, I think.

The art work on the past half dozen or so covers has been beautiful. They are dark and moody, a bit of a contrast to cold Darkover.
