Small Steps in the West Bank

Through the folks at Peace Fleece, I found out about the "Sheep for Peace" project at Tipping Bucket. "The residents of the binational community of Neve Shalom/Wahat al-Salam in Israel have put this project together to help women of Beit Sira in the West Bank." They'll give 5 of the poorest women two adult female sheep each, thereby generating a self-sustaining source of protein and income. They're asking for donations of only $1 toward this goal.
