today isn't yesterday, because today I'm going back to bed in the forlorn hope that if I just stay quiet enough, my lungs will stop feeling like a mule kicked them. But yesterday, I carted [livejournal.com profile] manawolf and [livejournal.com profile] otana up to Big Basin State Park.

[livejournal.com profile] otana posted pics here.

I know how you feel. I came back a day early from my daughter's house because the crud I thought I'd vanquished came back. Happy New Year, anyway!

I hope you feel better soon...

Happy New Year wishes to you. Am looking forward to 'Hastur Lord' which I have on order from my local sci-fi book store. :)

Thanks, all. I'm sitting up for a few minutes because my back is grousing at me for not-yoga this morning. Back to bed momently.

Thank you -- and done, although still a ways to go. The anvil has removed itself from my chest and I am no longer feeling shivery. I am being careful, though, and spending much time lying down. That seems to be the right treatment for respiratory crud in these lungs.

Respiratory tract things definitely need treating with care.

I've learned the hard way that a little extra bed rest now means a much shorter recovery later.
