I posted it on amazon.com and B&N.com. I couldn't believe those amazon.com reviews! If any of the Austen riffs deserve to have her name on the byline, it's JAMES FAIRFAX, for faithfulness not only to the original text but to the spirit and intent of Austen's examination of the societal and economic aspects of marriage. I suspect the motivation behind those reviews were homophobia, and the people who posted them were looking for an excuse--any excuse--to give the book only one star.
