Thinking about publicizing Hastur Lord, this popped into my mind:

Hastur Lord has something to offend every reactionary: Gay characters in love! Bisexual characters who honor their devotion to their gay lovers! Polyamory done intelligently! Religious fundamentalist nuts making trouble for everyone! I can hardly wait for the reviews.

HEH!
Hey, if what you write doesn't infuriate someone, you did it wrong.

On a day when I desperately needed a giggle, this post gave me one. That, combined with the promise of a new outing on the planet of the bloody sun gives me reason to smile. Thank you.

What a beautiful cat in your icon -- a birman? I have a blue-0cream point birman girl myself.

This is getting exciting... there's always that magical moment when I hold my first copy in my hands -- I'll most likely sleep with it under my pillow.

I totally agree! Failure to do so results in pablum.

Didn't Dante reserve a special level in hell for people without the courage to act on their convictions?

I usually don't buy hardbacks, but will make an exception for this one. :D

Wow, I'm honored.

One of my irritations is when I shell out bucks for a hardback and then find the paper like newsprint, the font almost unreadable... DAW, however, does a beautiful job with their hardbacks. They're lovely to hold and easy on the eyes. And will most likely be beautiful in a hundred years.

DAW produces great books, yes. :) There's nothing worse than a hardback that looks 'cheap' inside. :(
