Most of the time, I don't see myself as special, just an ordinary person faced with extraordinary challenges. Then I realize that we are all heroic, wise, compassionate, steadfast. I like living from that perspective. Among other things, it means that whenever I encounter another person, I have the opportunity to experience something wonderful in them.
